Don’t wait for the mess. Find a solution before it happens.
It’s really that simple. If I see a closet or storage bin start to get out of control, I don’t wait for it to be Spring Cleaning time, I just get to work and do it.
I’m not a hoarder of anything. Well, maybe yarn, planners and notebooks, but, we all have our thing, right? I’ve decluttered my bins to include ONLY yarns I’ll use, notebooks I’ll write in, and planners that are useful. It makes me (and my house) feel lighter.
I’m sure there’s a space in your house that could use a little re-organizing. Am I right?
Tip: Give yourself 30 minutes today to tackle just one space. Even if it’s (just) getting rid of things that have been there longer than a year. Or yarn that keeps finding its way to the bottom of the bin. Let’s be honest with ourselves when it comes to clutter. Find a pretty bin, organizing system, or even a container.
It’s an easy task. Just do it.
