Magazine Review: Artists & Makers

Artists & Makers Magazine

As an artist and maker of fun accessories and dishcloth patterns, I truly appreciate this magazine geared toward this specifically.

As I sat down with my cup of coffee, I found myself flipping ever-so slowly through the pages. I wanted to absorb as much information as possible. One thing I noticed is that there are very few ads. For me, that’s huge. I mean, who wants to flip through a magazine, and page after page all you see are ads.

Not here, my friends.

This debut issue is for the creative entrepreneur. The editor comments, and I quote, “I know how passionate you are about creating, and I understand your desire to take your skills to the next level. Artists & Makers is here to be that friend, that peer, who will guide you through the rough spots, help you celebrate the victories, and inspire you to achieve your wildest dreams.”

So, why wouldn’t you pick up a copy?

Magazine: Artists & Makers
Publisher: Interweave
Format: Digital or Paper
Retail: $9.99

Allow me to highlight a few of the stories:
*Art of Business
*Art Coach
*The social Life — working the networks
*Artists studio highlights — TONS of them.

For me, those are so much fun to read. In-the-life-of kind of stories.

So, I bid you much love knitters, and encourage you to take a peek at this magazine. If you are an artist in any way, you will appreciate the detail this magazine provides.

You won’t be sorry. I’m anxious to hear your thoughts. Please leave a comment below to be entered in my giveaway of not one, but TWO copies of this magazine.

Knit On!
