Knitting Work in Progress & Stuff

Have you noticed the calendar lately. Well, obviously you have if you had to send your clocks back one hour.

Yikes!

November 4. That means 51 more days until Christmas Day. Eek!

Well, hopefully you are armed with your knitted gifts or maybe even have a clue what that knitted gift is.

Not me! I’ve decided that with the time constraints I have this year, I will be buying everything. In fact, I have started shopping. The first, in as far back as I can remember.

I have several things on my needles though. My goal, since I’m not knitting for gifts, is to complete as many of them as I can before the end of the year. That way, I have a fresh start to the new year. My que on Ravelry continues to grow.

I’m sure yours does too. Right?

My first WIP is my sweater. If you follow me on Facebook, and I hope you do, you will have seen some of the progress…I plan to finish this over the next couple weeks.

I’ve also been working on completing my Honey Cowl. A great pattern!! This will be the second one I’ve knit. And definitely not the last…

And…I’ve taken on a challenge. To write a 50,000 word novel in one month. NaNoWritMo. Have you heard of it? I’ve completed day 4. Maybe you want to read about it over on my other blog, DebsWritingMuse.

One more thing, I have been doing a book review, that will take place right her on Wednesday, November 6. Watch for that!! You won’t want to miss. I promise! A FREE giveaway will be happening!! I was able to knit up a swatch.

So, as you can see, BUSY doesn’t even begin to describe what I have been. I love it though. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Now, I haven’t mentioned my book. Yes! Book 2! Dishcloth Diva Knits On! is moving right along. Tech editor in place, and details being finalized. Soon, my friends. Soon!
