I’m wrapping up my day by surfing the internet. What a brainless thing to do when so much yet needs to be done. My last 3 chapters of editing need to take place over the weekend now that I’ve blown off the evening. I spent the afternoon with a little princess named Jasmine. I’ve updated my photography blog tonight, something I haven’t done in a while. It’s time to get back on track. I wrote an article for an online magazine, admired my article that was published in the Pike Peak Writers online newsmag. Ok, I’ve done stuff, but not very productive overall.
I stare out the window of my newly decorated office we now call my writing room, and reflect on the day ahead; saturday. I will get up to Jazzercise. I will spend the afternoon with my husband, and I will find time to edit 2 chapters. The last chapter I’ll save until Sunday evening when the house quiets down and I can concentrate.
Writing is a passion for me. I’m trying to find avenues that will hone my writing skills alongside my novel. Articles for magazine and online websites. Submitting short-stories to contests in hopes of winning. I’ll find it. This is what makes me happy. This is what I love to do.
